PERFORMER | EDUCATOR | ARTIST MANAGER

Ishani Bhoola founded the Waverley Ensemble in 2011 to bring high quality baroque music, performed by professional musicians in the area, to the local community. In addition to performing great music, a core element of the venture is to bring the local community together through a shared love of classical music. Families are able to attend concerts and hear great baroque music performed to a world-class level, in local churches and other venues.
Children under the age of 16 attend free, with front seats, allowing a deeper appreciation of the performance.
St. Christopher's Church Haslemere, a beautiful late gothic structure, was chosen as the principal concert venue and focal point for concerts. The church holds up to 150 people - with its wonderful acoustics, intimate setting, and central location, it provides a perfect setting for these concerts. From March 2023, concerts will also be held at St. James' Church, Bermondsey.
